This is the second time we used Shelton Home Inspections for a 4 Point and Wind mitigation. When we contacted them to do this service to get our insurance rate down, Chris responded to me on a weekend and set everything up for a convenient time. Steve as always is amazing. The company was quick to respond to our needs & understood what we are going through with our home owners insurance. They set up the agreement & scheduled our roof inspection right away. The associate who came to our house was very knowledgeable, nice & friendly. We received our reports the next day. All was what we were told would happen. I called the next day with some questions about the reports & I was assisted right away. I only wish Shelton could come over & put a new roof on for us. I would recommend Shelton Home Inspection to anyone buying or selling their home!I am a Realtor and used Shelton Home Inspection for myself as well as clients.The Inspection report was very thorough, we had color videos of the pipes and color drone pictures of the house, along with a very thorough and specific narrative of any discrepancy pictures.Worth the money no matter if you are selling or buying.If you are the Seller , Get a pre- inspection before you sell your house and be way ahead of any surprises!Get a home inspection if you are the Buyer!

If I bought and sold homes for a living I would use Shelton Home Inspections. I got a full inspection. Could not believe the detailed information with photos. They gave useful recommendations. Christine in the office was refreshingly quick and courteous in response to my calls. Wish every business was like this one. Reasonable prices as well.. My wife and I are happy happy.

Shelton Home Inspections were great! Steve took his time and went over the entire home with a fine tooth comb. His knowledge & expertise about every nook & cranny in the house is unreal. He was an encyclopedia of everything home related. The inspection was scheduled for 2 hours but he spent almost 5 hours to ensure that everything was inspected. I'll definitely use them again and recommend them for anyone that needs an inspection.

Shelton Home Inspections is the standard that all businesses should strive to be not just those in the home inspection industry. Words I would use to describe them are professional, effortless, trust, excellent customer service & value.I contracted them to provide a wind mitigation survey on my home so that I could get credits on my home owners insurance. I reached out to Christine and she responded quickly coordinating the service at a time that was convenient for me. Zack followed that up by showing up at the scheduled date and time and performing the survey in a professional manner. Zack reviewed his results with me showing me pictures and relating them to how they applied to homeowners insurance credits and even went above and beyond showing me pictures of maintenance items on my roof that did not pertain to the wind mitigation survey but are things that I should take action on to protect my investment.Contacting Shelton Home Inspections was one the best decision I ever made. I can't say enough good things about them.

Steve came out to do a WDO inspection and also found a sewer pipe leak that I ended up getting paid for by the seller prior to purchasing. If not for Steve, this wouldn’t have been found. I asked Steve to come out months later to inspect a foundation issue and his advice helped me get it fixed correctly and at a fraction of the price of repair company estimates I received. I will definitely use Shelton for all my home inspection needs. They are family owned, very experienced and excellent at what they do.

Zack did a home inspection for us last week. As a first time home buyer, I was nervous about the inspection process. We had to get an inspection quickly, naturally, and while we were in a panic, Christine was calm and collected and explained the process thoroughly, plus fit us in to meet our timeline. Zack was incredibly thorough and also a calm presence; very punctual and polite and super-professional. We got our reports quickly and nothing was overlooked. We also needed a re-inspection on some four-point items that the seller had to fix, and that was done in a very timely manner. Great people, great company.
